The Role of the Officiant

THE OFFICIANT IS A TRUE MASTER OF CEREMONIES, GUIDING IT FROM BEGINNING TO END.

We offer you an officiant who will enable you to experience a unique ceremony!

After an initial meeting with the future newlyweds, the officiant drafts the ceremony texts according to their wishes. He ensures the smooth flow of the ceremony, coordinating the different phases: explanation of the symbolic ceremony, the couple’s story, interventions and commitments of the witnesses, potential rituals, exchange of the couple’s vows (including the exchange of consent and rings).

The solemnity of the moments and the overall ambiance of the ceremony are ensured according to the couple’s wishes. He always acts within the framework entrusted to him, in constant collaboration with the organizer: the wedding planner or the ceremony coordinator.

Note: An organizer is not the officiant, and the officiant is not the organizer!

The organizer manages the “side aspects” before, during, and after the ceremony (decoration, guest reception, entrance of the participants, music timing, etc.).

The organizer works behind the scenes, complementing the officiant by handling unexpected issues, vendors, and guests.

We have several ceremony officiants, each with their own specialties: style, language, and more. Some can also interact with any musicians present or sing selected pieces of your choice.
